Ta-da!! This is a Blog ...

Written by Jill on September 21, 2011 at 1:08 pm

A blog requires an author to write and publish entries regularly. The author could make announcements, discuss industry topics, or promote products and services. There are blogs out there just about cooking, cars, aliens, and thousands of other topics.

People read blogs for entertainment, acquiring valuable information, and participating in conversation. That is why it is important for an author to compose compelling entries. If your entries are interesting enough or entertaining enough, people will link to them and share them with other people. This drives more people to your site, making it more popular and more highly ranked in search engines. Not to mention you'll gain new business from it.

Most bloggers allow visiters to comment on their blog, which means they can reply with questions or comments about that topic. This can start a deep conversation with many users if other visiters decide to participate.
